NuSep Holdings (ASX:NSP) has received a Research and Development tax refund of $821,879 for its research into human and animal artificial insemination technology.
Funds will be used to further develop its SpermSep business including running clinical trials, and for working capital purposes.
The company’s technology uses proprietary polymer-based membranes and an electric field for separating high value biological substances from fluids.
This includes separating large molecules such as proteins, whole organisms such as viruses and individual cells such as spermatozoa.
