News: NVT Australia's Navitas HY profit falls 14 pct

Feb 5 (Reuters) - Australian adult education provider Navitas Ltd (NVT) posted a 14 percent fall in its first half net profit, weighed down by reduced enrollments in the United States due to tighter immigration policies.

The company said its net profit was A$21.4 million ($15.46 million)for the six-months ended Dec. 31, compared with a profit of A$24.7 million a year ago.
