Sept 5 (Reuters) - NEXTDC Ltd (NXT) :

• Capital raising announcement (NXT)
• Placement to institutional investors ("placement") to raise approximately $50 million at $4.06 per share
• Says NEXTDC expects that the S2 facility will generate returns in excess of the company's cost of capital
• Accelerated non-renounceable pro rata entitlement offer to raise approximately $100 million at $3.74 per new share
• Intends to invest between $140 million to $150 million in the development of S2 across FY 2017 and FY 2018
• Intends to use the proceeds from the capital raising to fund the acquisition of land and the associated development of S2
