WELLINGTON, May 18 (Reuters) - New Zealand producer prices fell in the first quarter, dragged downward by lower fuel prices, data from Statistics New Zealand showed on Wednesday.
Input prices lost 1 percent and output prices were down 0.2 percent.
"The costs paid by fuel manufacturers have fallen by more than half since mid-2012, mainly due to falls in crude oil prices," the statistics agency said in a statement.
