WELLINGTON, July 13 (Reuters) - - New Zealand house prices fell 0.2 percent in June, the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ) said on Thursday.
On an annual basis, house prices rose a seasonally adjusted 6.3 percent. The REINZ said prices in the country's biggest city, Auckland, rose 1.0 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis on the month and were up 2.1 percent on the year.
The central bank is closely watching house price inflation amid concerns that a sharp downturn in the housing market could pose a financial stability risk.
