In this technicalogical age I don't remember seeing any rigs or drilling companies still using radios for coms, they all use data links and special coms phone systems ,so don't waiste too much of your time trying to tune into the right frequency.
I hope the combination of transocean (ex Sedco forex)and woodside is as successful in Africa as it has been over the last 8 odd years here in Australia.
