Putin could well be getting a bloody nose and some other problems. While he may have a lot of tanks to throw into the effort to subdue Ukraine I think he will be surprised at how many he has lost and how poor the logistical support in terms of fuel supplies to his tanks etc has been. He may have to lick his wounds a bit before he tries anything else. In fact he will never subdue the Ukrainians as they will keep resisting.
