It's all political. Government wants mining to resume but needs a way forward getting the people on side. Oceanagold could present a way forward, give some kind of concession. Or the Government could come up with something to placate the locals. It's not about what's fair, it's about what works. Company took the right decision halting operations rather than inflaming the situation. Waiting isn't in the company's interest either. Go to Duarte, make a deal, placate the people and get on with it. Courts will magically rule in the companies favor once the politics is sorted out. Or we can keep waiting. IMO.
