Las Vegas' world famous Venetian Hotel has chosen G&EG as a partner to take its business online. G&EG will provide a complete gaming solution (including their back-end platform and gaming content) for the hotel's soon-to-be-launched online casino.
In announcing the new deal, G&EG's Chief Operating Officer Mr. Kevin Burman, who is overseeing the project, said "The Gaming & Entertainment Group has worked with Venetian Interactive from the very start to ensure the end result will be a world-class online destination. This has included helping them with the selection of an appropriate jurisdiction that would stand up to the highly regulated Nevada regulators and right on through to the selection of an appropriate software system. At every stage the G&EG system was subjected to rigorous testing standards and I am pleased to say that we have passed with flying colours."
Mr. Burman also added that "The most challenging task of the project to date has been that of trying to faithfully create on the Internet, the excitement of the Venetian Interactive's Las Vegas casino floor."
The online casino is estimated to be in a position to gain all regulatory approvals in the latter half of Q2 this year.
