A financial analyst in todays Fin Review said that the Aussie dollar would achieve parity with the USD soon. Given that interest rates are likely to ease in OZ in the near future I would have thought an opposite trend would develop. Anyway the positive in the article is that the Analyst considered strong commodity exports would underpin the AUD.
FMS still holding up OK although I am surprised it ended at 16 instead of 16.5.
