Thanks for sharing the information gmutton. I am glad the issue price was around market price, it shows that the underwriter isn't just trying to take advantage. I also think its fair to offer to shareholders, if the price had jumped to 7c on speculation then many would be keen on the offer. You can't always (ever?) accurately predict what the share price will do. In regard to the timelines it is true that optiscan consistently miss deadlines; but I can sort of understand why it is hard to accurately predict how long these things take. And if the programmer says it will take 6 months and then it ends up taking 9 months what do you do?

The thing that does irritate me is the lack of proper communication and the lack of owning up to missed deadlines. BUT I just hope that means they are putting all their energy into making things happen. I do think that as the company evolves, if they aspire to being a truly great company then they will have to consider the way they communicate with and treat shareholders and the market generally. At the moment they are like an arrogant teenager who refused to take ownership of their missed deadlines and instead says nothing and brushes off enquiries.
