A recent Latitude Fund report stated that most BNPL stocks on the ASX will go bust in 2022. It bases this largely on the rotation out of the sector and increasing bad debts. Motley Fool is now publishing a similar article backing this view.
Most companies have raised capital at prices much higher than what they're trading at right now. When they need to raise again, they could very well be in trouble.
The only way out is consolidation. But, who wants a dud if you're a dud in a dud business? I think this was all Disallowed from the beginning.
