I think one article I saw mentioned a $2.19B offer and a $1.6B raising. I'd have to see the numbers but I can't imagine Carlyle Group selling at a bargain and we're at a very low point for the $A against the Euro so I'd need to be convinced they're not overpaying and stretching their balance sheet even with the raise.
I've been having a tiny bit of seller's regret with ORA but after this I'm relatively happy to be on the sidelines. Lots of details to come but with such a (potentially) massive raise this deal comes with a whole bunch of risk.
