Orica Limited (ASX:ORI) has appointed two high-profile non-executive directors to take effect from August 14.
The group has selected Alberto Calderon, who was most recently Chief Executive Aluminium, Nickel and Corporate Development at BHP Billiton and Gene Tilbrook, who was a senior executive of Wesfarmers and is currently a non-executive director at Aurizon Holdings.
Orica Chairman Peter Duncan welcomed the new additions to the board, saying they each bring great experience and knowledge with them.
Mr Calderon and Mr Tilbrook will nominate to reappointment by shareholders at the next AGM in January 2014.
Orica generated a net profit of $276.6 million in the first half of fiscal 2013.
