Origin Energy Limited (ASX:ORG) says it has reached another milestone at its BassGas Mid Life Enhancement Project (MLE) in Bass Strait, offshore Victoria.Origin advises the successful lift of the export compression and condensate pumping modules into place on the Yolla offshore platform.The lift has been described as an important first step in Stage 2 of the BassGas MLE project aiming to extend the production life of the Yolla field.Origin now plans to prepare for drilling the Yolla-5 and Yolla-6 wells with the drilling operation expected to start in the new year.Origin Energy reported a net profit of $638 million in the 2014 financial year.
