Lots of clauses in partner agreements so has to be offered as final right of refusal and many only want part of 1 project . Then they would have to sell off other projects. Lots of history that make it hard for PNG partners hence why teh wording is of this Merger of combining companies rather than a sale transaction that has IMO other consequences with PNG govt. Just my thought and decade since I had a really close look at old agreements and I haven't kept up to date as there will have been partner agreed amendments . At some point if it gets so cheap it outweights breaking of current agreements they will I guess ?
