they should know heaps and use that knowledge to build the business, that is what they are being paid to do. they should not be filling their pockets on the basis of that knowledge, and then spilling the bad/good news at their convenience and our expense.
how would you feel selling all your stock to a director who knows that some really good news will double the share price. you may have used the charts and investing rules to make 10% and they make 100%. it does not seem fair to me.
and it does not seem fair in the eyes of the law and there are places around the country for people who do this, they are called gaols
