Clearly with the exit optionality OZL has wrt SFR it does not need to be tied to a single strategy.

OZL does not have the bad M&A prowess as you infer. Although most of us (not being emotionally tied as you are) do not see the pre GFC OZL as the same company in any meaningful management sense, if you do then even then you must be referring to it's solitary bad merger with ZFX. Then opening the door to the old OXR you have to say there was a series of smart acquisitions including Golden Grove and PH.

For you to be so emotionally negative (over all rational analysis) wrt OZL I suspect you must once have had the infactuation with OZL/OXR management that you currently have with "Biff" at LOM - presumably something Freudian going on.

So you are bashing OZL for making (in your view) a good investment in SFR - I guess a jilted lover is hard to please. You are ALL emotion Byron.
