byron08 or others have every right to critizise OZL as others have a right to complement & support it so long as all abide by HC rules. It's a democratic blog we hope.
The fact that you dont agree with his view of OZL or China for that matter does not give you a right to refer to his contribution as: "your attempts to demonise OZL are pathological"
For many of us OZL has had a checquered career and only for the FIRB the Chinese would own it now so it would not
be available for us as an investment.
This would be a boring blogsite indeed if all we ever read was spruik thinly veiled as reasonable comment.
Fair commentary includes weaknesses & threats as well as strengths & opportunities and this is why there should always a place for a contrarian view.(Its embedded in any SWOT Analysis)
Take Nouriel Roubini for example, in 2006-2007 he was sidelined by the mainstream economists as a charlaton
and a crank. But just look at him now!
