Pacific American Coal (ASX:PAK), formerly Metals Finance, has appointed Paul Chappell as a non-executive director of the company.
He has more than 20 years’ experience working with some of the world’s largest resource companies and raw material users.
This includes extensive experience in the coal mining industry and international trade of coal and other bulk materials.
Chappell was a non-executive director of Texas and Oklahoma Coal Company (TOCC), the forerunner to Pacific American Coal, since 2011.
From 2005 until December 2013, he was a non-executive director of ASX-listed Cockatoo Coal and was chairman of its audit committee.
The company has recently raised over $3.7 million, added over 200 shareholders to its register and completed the acquisition of TOCC.
It expects to list on the ASX within the next few weeks.
