Most of the media and the elites at the ABC got it wrong but detailed analysis correctly picked the marginal seats that could swing back to the coalition because of the Turnbull factor,add to that the lousy policies that the public saw through the campaigns by GETUP and the unions were counterproductive. Dave you are reading from the Labor and ABC text book saying the LNP had no policies they did have policies and they were detailed in the budget if you care to look rather than sprouting the party line,the public did not trust Shorten and their policies the mob got it right. Most Australian's want the economy to grow and people to be in work rather than like you hoping for the worst to justify you left leaning politics I would never wish that on the Australian people.
