Pan Pacific Petroleum (ASX:PPP) is on track to enjoy increased oil production with the start of subsea tie-back and installation for the Pateke-4H well offshore Taranaki Basin, New Zealand.
The project involves installing subsea pipelines, manifolds and ancillary support equipment in water depths of about 124 metres to connect the development well to the Tui field gathering system
Pateke is one of three producing structures in the Tui fields.
The subsea tie-back and installation project will coincide with a two week planned inspection and maintenance shut-down of the FPSO, Umuroa.
First production from Pateke-4H is expected in April.
Pan Pacific Petroleum has a 15% interest in PMP38158, which are operator by AWE Limited (ASX:AWE).
