very misleading comparison senator - in the case of SIR they proved the stuff was in the ground via JORC requirements - that's all you need to prove for mining discoveries - you don't need to further prove the use for the stuff they've discovered. Plus they presumably have backing for the development of their in ground resource. The case is totally different for PSY. They have in principle shown their MEMS device has the potential of optical capabilities but now have to produce application prototypes and find partners to develop it all? they, unlike SIR are not in a position to say 'OK we've done it, now who wants it?"
as I was saying, if PSY can attract big player partners then IMO it's a different game.
