** Ascential Plc's ASCL.L shares soared over 26% to an all-time high after events organiser Informa INF.L agreed to buy the owner of the Cannes Lions Festival for 1.2 billion pounds ($1.55 billion).
** Australia's Peak Rare Earths (PEK) said Chinese miner Shenghe Resources 600392.SS would acquire a 50% stake in an U.K.-based firm that owns 84% of its Ngualla project in Tanzania.
** Robert Bosch has agreed to acquire Johnson Controls' JCI.N and Hitachi's 6501.T residential ventilation businesses for $8 billion, it said on Tuesday, in what will be the German engineering group's largest takeover to date.
** Isaac Perlmutter, one of the largest investors in Walt Disney DIS.N , has sold his entire stake in the media company after losing the proxy fight, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.
** Israeli cybersecurity startup Wiz has ended talks with Google-parent Alphabet GOOGL.O on a reported $23 billion deal that would have made it the U.S. tech giant's largest-ever acquisition, according to a Wiz memo seen by Reuters.
