The last time I checked, this was a Tanzanian based asset - the only authority who can stop " a Chinese takeover " is surely the Tanzanian government ?? If the ASX or the FIRB tried to flex muscle (which they wont), would result in the company relocating to a more friendly stock exchange like in Singapore or HK or UK. What this new shareholding does is reinforce the size and strategic value of PEK rare earths deposits.
Now, its a matter of finally working out if the original plan to process in the UK will be replaced by an Asian destination. Who provides the best finance solution may be the final determining factor.
