Regarding the cautious outlook, the CEO was reported by The Australian saying, ‘I’m keen to be conservative rather than promise things and then later on things don’t work out.’
He sounds like a credible and cautious man, who can be trusted with the job. The only way to get the stock back to where it was is to win back confidence of investors. It will take time. They must provide reliable future guidance and be able to beat that. The new CEO knows that.
