Thanks for sharing the Polynovo story, looks like people are expecting big things from Polynovo, MC of 1.4B and revenues of only $9M, wow..

On a separate topic and just thinking out aloud here, the fact that big pharma (J&J) decided to enter into a R&D partnership with PIQ to use the PD technology is very reassuring and speaks volumes about how the industry is accepting and acknowledging the power of the PromarkerD test.

The potential 'interest' from health insurance companies & government health care systems is priceless.
If I was diagnosed with Diabetes (touch wood) and was told there was a simple blood test that could predict with high accuracy if I was likely to get CKD - I would definitely want to know, I would do everything possible to reduce the possibility of that outcome.

This test is no brainier to me - it benefits everyone.
The patent itself is worth more than $20M in my opinion.

I was interested in the commercialization effort in the Dominican Republic and found some interesting stuff..
PIQ stated that PromarkerD is being resold under the name "INNOVATIO ND2" via their partner 'Omics Global'.



Omics Global only has 1 product - the PromarkerD product.
The company seems to have formed in around late 2016, the GM (Luben) specifically calls out PromarkerD on his LinkedIn profile:


Luben was also former Baxter employee heading up marketing.

The company also held a launch night for PromarkerD (Innovatio ND2) in 2018, I found some pictures of the event here:

So it looks like Omics Global was created solely to cash in on PromarkerD, there isn't a huge market in DR but the fact that these investors have created a new business and aiming to use PD as the first product tells me that they certainly believe they will be able to make commercialize it.

Omics Global Technical Director - Noemi Santiago, PhD is a former Senior Director at J&J too - so good to see that she isn't a 'nobody'.





Interestingly, they are selling through a distributor called Macrotech.
Now Macrotech is a major health industry distributor in the Dominican Republic, representing Baxter & Medtronic.
We all know how big those two companies are

Anyway - I guess what this is all pointing to is that are indeed many people anticipating eventual commercialization of the PromarkerD test and with many people wanting to get their piece of the pie.
