Net profits were down with generally depressed earnings over the last year. I would assume that, given they have recovered pretty well recently and everyone is pretty bullish about blue chips now, this is just pricing in the future prospects of solid divvies rather than the past. When you pay out monthly, there are no real suprises in hindsight. My theory is the SP isn't going much further north of $1.2 unless there's a prospect of increased dividends and this stock will sit around a 5% yield + franking.
