I think this offer may need to be raised to succeed. At this moment there is a lot of demand for property trusts from investors. For example GPT has rocketed from 5 to over 6 dollars recently.
The RBA possible nterest drop bias and the franking credits policies of the ALP if they win the election will really drive investor demand for property trusts.
Consider an SMSF in pension phase, you get a 5.8 per cent divvy ( under labour can't use the franking credits) from CBA or get 6.2 per cent (7.2/116.4) from propertylink current takeover price - what would you choose?
