Only a matter of time - Check out Formula E - top speed 320 kph compared to 350 kph for F1 - range still an issue but we know that is improving. Acceleration a bit slower too 0-100 2.9 sec vs 2.6 sec - that's comparable. Google Formula E - it's really intereresting the things that are now possible and I'd guess there's much more room for improvement in FE rather than F1. All IMHO of course.
