IMO, the swing price of Lepidolite is much higher. CATL no less, have only just shut the mine, apparently. They would have been running the mine at a lose for some time, to achieve their objectives. Allow more Lithium to come online and secure alternate raw material supply. More ex china conversion will change the dynamics of pricing as the decade rolls on. That ESG thing may eventually work its way into pricing also. Presently, there are many OEM's who espouse ESG credentials with CATL batteries.
