Goldmans is an investment bank and Nomura has a investment bank subsidiary , guessing you are meaning the big 4 Australian banks , but would think , anything tendered wholesale is pretty much bidded international nowadays (with a currency hedge if needed ) ?
I would have thought the investment return is based on a KPI apart from interest rate , but I have been out of the banking game for over 20 years and then only worked for a small USA home mortgage lender , so I know SFA .
