They have to. I read they are doing/investing in Indonesia IPO nickel smelter(I could be wrong). So the 1m wmt high grade from kolosori will go to indonesia, probably. My personal view. Lower shipping cost and high grade. Also Jejevo has nearly 2m wmt of 1.9% Ni. Excluding extension.
if the Sydney board read the sumitomo documents properly they would know exactly what fleet they need to mine successful, profitable with limited breakdowns. But no, they know everything better. Lorena gold also went bust .
simple solution here. Out with Sydney board. Get the original team to build the SI portfolio and let GC do the mining .
