I have been considering the implications of the Cwth legislation to oblige employers to offer casual workers permanent work after 12 months. I suspect a lot of employers choose to use casual workers to avoid the unfair dismissal laws and for flexibility. Maybe, some of these employers will use contract hire firms such as PPE to maintain workplace flexibility.
