The border closures post June 2021 were primarily put in place until the public was vaccinated.
Based on current rates - nearly 90% of the 16+ population will be fully vaccinated by mid-December. At that point internal borders will be open (other than possibly WA) - NSW and Vics can travel freely now, SA, Tas and Qld will follow and have said so.
Lockdowns are a thing of the past. That is the reality.
And what is easier to travel overseas mean?
