I've believed for years that QAN is a poor dividend stock. The banks are the only stars in this regard. Buybacks are a way for the EPS to look better over time, so making the share price more attractive. With a tighter register, the rises and falls become more volatile, and we saw that last Thursday. The lofty highs became the horror lows in only a few hours. But it's those moves that provide opportunities. I wait for those dips to pounce. I don't get every trade right, but I usually always hit the right side of that sentiment curve. Then, when euphoria returns, I dump some and wait for the next storm. The latest storm was last Thursday.
Wash, rinse, dry, repeat.
