Allow me to elaborate a little further on my post above.
QAN is currently not doing well in its legal battles. It has so far lost 2 for 2, and it has the ACCC case pending. Losing that could really send it into a tail spin. What really worried me in 2023 is the leprechaun cut and run late last year, taking his dirty secrets with him.
It is said that retailers open the market, but instos close it. That was certainly true today. It was a bloody tussle between bulls and bears around 5.05 today, but at the close, the downward pressure proved too great closing out at 5.01. If the broader index is red tomorrow, QAN will drift back into the $4 range, possibly lowering to a double bottom around 4.70.

The market seems to be very concerned about the upcoming compensation costs associated with the COVID sackings and the upcoming CAPEX expenditure beginning next year. The lower profit and focus on customer relations could indicate the company is beginning to struggle to break records as it did when Joyce was at the helm.
In terms of charting, the MACD is still showing further weakness, and the RSI is not indicating the stock is oversold yet.
