As much as people will hate it Alan Joyce also predicted.
What I find crazy is there is political pressure now put on Jetstar, Virgin and Qantas to fly stranded passengers home for free and they are doing it. Shareholders of these three airlines have to put up with a competitor doing crazy things in the market affecting them and then when it goes pear shaped they have to subsidise the flights of those that knew it was too good to be true - the customer. A true double whammy.
