This seems a reasonable outcome, based on known information. Am surprised the Qantas share price isn't racing higher on this announcement.
It doesn't serve the general public any good to wallop Qantas, when the company needs to focus on funding the rebuild of their fleet of aircraft.
Am sure there will be much gnashing of teeth and wailing in the ACCC, and among some of the more toxic members of the media (amongst others), who would have preferred a higher impost.
