But we just can't undermined this LCC. In 2008, they planned to join Australia low cost domestic market but since then I thought they must have backed out as their is no clear result on it.

Perhaps what cause them to back out, is the cost structure which is very much different in Indonesia than in Australia.

The market in Australia is totally different than in Indonesia.

I just wonder what will it be for Australia domestic market if they really set in.

Any strategy on Qantas to defend it or risk losing a portion of Indonesian market to Lion Air? Guess, the QAN is to busy setting up a new company in China and Japan and forget their rival from their closest neighbor. While, the public is busy with the issue of expanding to China, South East Asia slowly poking it from side and behind public views.
