Insurance company QBE Insurance Group Limited (ASX:QBE) has revealed new board appointments and retirements.Jann Skinner and Stephen Fitzgerald have been appointed non-executive directors from October 1.Isabel Hudson and Duncan Boyle will retire as non-executive directors at the end of this year.Group Chief Financial Officer Pat Regan will join the board as an executive director from the beginning of next month.QBE’s Chairman Marty Becker says the appointments and retirements are part of a continuing part of the planned board succession process.QBE Insurance Group reported a net profit of $420 million in the first half of the 2014 financial year.
