When QBE was $35 it had a book value of around $9.60 and NTA $6.80 and earnings around 2.10 with growth potential hence the premium so drop to $10 very plausible when the company did not deliver. Today book value around $10.50 NTA still around $6.80 and trading at $10.38. Trading below book value..hello...share buy back not being factored into price..eventual rise in interest rates not factored into price..increasing profits and potential growth not factored into price...so where the $2.50 valuation comes from god only knows.
