Can someone please explain exactly how the US interest rates impact qbe profit ? I thought they were in the insurance business . Also aud has dropped against USD recently . A good profit from premium s would surely produce positive share price . You would also think their investment advisors would have hedge tools in place to smooth out any currency/interest movements . Would love to know your opinion ?
P.s I'm sure companies like Qantas are locking cheap fuel prices . Why can't qbe
do the same with currency/ interest rates .
