Range Resources (ASX:RRS) has strengthened its board with the appointment of two Australian non-executive directors with significant experience.

Ian Macliver has extensive experience with capital raising and other corporate initiatives while David Riekie has experience with oil and gas companies, specialising in capital raising and development strategies.

Macliver has extensive experience as a senior executive and director of both resource and industrial companies.

He is a principal of specialist corporate advisory firm in Perth and is a director of various listed and unlisted companies.

Riekie has 20 years of corporate experience through a variety of executive and advisory roles in the industrial and resource sectors.

He has more than 14 years’ experience as an Executive Director of a corporate advisory and consulting enterprise.

Notably, he is a founding director of Otto Energy (ASX:OEL) and a former director of Hawkley Oil and Gas (ASX:HOG).

Range had recently increased its Trinidad production by 18% to 630 barrels of oil per day and its total Proved and Probable Reserves by 9.4% to 22.1 million barrels of oil.
