Hey mate, I was wondering if people had any idea what the tailings could have as a grade.

The Kaltails project yielded 700,000 ounces from the 60,000,000 tonne tailings from what I understand as a very similar deposit and process from the Normandy mine of the 90's.

700,000 troy ounces recovered x 31.1035g
21,772,450 grams
equates to recovered 0.36g/t

If we could get similar yield
6.3m m3 x 2.7t/m3
17,010,000 tonnes
recover 0.36g/t
equates to potentially 197,000 ounces recovered AU

CNB at its Tick hills project recently sold just the tailings for $6m with 410,000 tonnes of tailings at 1.35g/t for only 17,800 ounces contained

There is big money in this in todays $2,000 gold prices for tailings and CNB has shown this!

RDS really need to get drilling to determine grades and prove this up ASAP.

Rough and very high level but goes some way in demonstrating the potential.
