Has anyone run some numbers on this? Its just insane!
At half a gram per tonne thats 7,500,000 grams. Assuming $80 per gram with a margin of 20% (allowing for mill costs plus transport plus overheads) gives a margin/profit of $120,000,000. Multiply RDS share by 80% gives $96,000,000.
The whole company only has 530m shares. $96 mill is equal to 18c per share!
Too generous? Ok I'm easy halve it and its still 9c per share!!! RDS is trading at 2 cents and that includes a cent for its copper!!!
Market is valuing the potential gold at one lousy cent!!! So risk reward means downside is 1c but upside is 7 to 16c.
