REA Group Limited (ASX:REA) saw its shares lift yesterday as it reported a first half boost in profit of 34 per cent with revenue up 25 per cent.The media advertising company says net profit for the six months to December hit $94.7 million with operations in Australia, Europe and Asia all showing growth.REA group owns the realestate.com.au website and says the result reflects the group’s focus on strengthening agent relationships and the continued success of its product strategy.CEO Tracey Fellows says the company has extended its lead over its competitors in both number of visits and time spent on site.The company has declared an interim dividend of 29.5 cents per share, fully franked, which represents a 34 per cent increase on last year’s interim dividend.
