Back in 2004, if my memory serves me correctly, when SBM purchased Tarmoola off Sons of Gwaler, the existing mill was 3.5 mtpa. SBM had plans to upgrade the mill to 6 mtpa. The PoG was only about A$500 per oz back then making it marginal at best. The plan to upgrade the mill and restart mining were shelved not long after.
