Canopy's ownership in AC8 has been diluted down to roughly 11%.

I also do not believe that Canopy would compete directly against Auscann Down Under, although from my recollection, Canopy is able to based on their agreement.

I think they'd just take a higher stake in AC8. My rough estimate is that Canopy has roughly $400 to $450 million CAD in cash after having done a CR two days ago that was oversubscribed 3 to 1 (they wanted 175mil and had demand of $600mil) so they have the cash to do it. Having all requisite licenses and it's strategic partnership w Taz makes it a very viable business moving forward, something Canopy will appreciate.
