Thought we’d do well to have one thread just for interesting articles etc*
The pic highlights the point that China is cutting back their EV subsidies this year- which will actually be good for the high energy density batteries that cobalt is needed for.
Why? Because China has ordered that people must start using EV’s instead of traditional vehicles and by removing subsidies, people will of course now be much more interested in buying the best battery type EV they can- the good old ‘bang for your buck’ kind of thing.
Conclusion? The best battery for the next number of years is the cobalt/lithium/nickel family & we are receiving positive demand signals from every side now- from governments to car makers to battery producers to consumers.... even the cobalt traders who stockpile for profit have been sending the buy signal!
